More About ARM Andalusite

Welcome to ARM Andalusite (Pty) Ltd, a world-class producer of Andalusite based in the Thabazimbi area of South Africa. Our mine was established in 2001 to exploit the Maroeloesfontein deposit, which has been extensively sampled, tested and studied by some of the leading experts in the industry, including Venmyn Rand (Pty) Ltd, Dr. F. Mendelsohn, Mintek, and most recently Geminas Consulting.

Our dedication to excellence and quality has led us to produce our first andalusite in 2003. Since then, we have been ramping up our production capacity to an impressive 6,000 tons per month, from the average production of 1,600 tons per month in the past.

In 2019, the mine, operating as Andalusite Resources (Pty) Ltd, went into business rescue. The process was concluded in 2022, and we took ownership of the mine's assets in May of the same year. Under our new directorship, we have been rebuilding the mine, reinvesting free cash flow into our operations to ensure we continue producing high-quality Andalusite while contributing to the local economy.

At ARM Andalusite (Pty) Ltd, we are committed to becoming a world-class mining company. Our dedication to quality, safety, and sustainability is unwavering, and we are constantly striving to improve our operations to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers, employees, and the communities we operate in.
